3 Romantic Getaways for Couples
Discover Your Fantasy Getaway
Everyone needs an special dose of romance in their life at one time or another. Getting away from the routine of everyday work and family responsibilities is a supercharged way to keep romance alive and develop a deeper respect and understanding of one another. It's also relaxing and fun!
Identify Your Romantic Style
What comes to mind when you hear the word romantic getaway or vacation. For some it is a hideaway cabin in the woods, for others it may be a cruise to an exotic land, and for some it is relaxing on a white sandy beach overlooking a clear blue sea. A romantic vacation is no single destination, place, or group of activities. It can not be found in the colorful and artfully written brochures provided to you by the hotel concierges and travel agents. Finding your romantic vacation spot means discovering your fantasies, deciding the type of environment in which you feel happy, and the types of activities in which you want to participate.
Ask yourself and your partner is "What is my favorite activity?" Knowing WHAT you like to do often determines the WHERE or place of your activity. If your favorite activity is skiing, you best go to a place that has snow.

Vacation in Historic Massachusetts
1750 Inn at Sandwich Center
Massachusetts
The 1750 Inn is located in Cape Cod's oldest seaside village and is within walking distance of the boardwalk and beach
The Inn has five rooms, each decorated in a seaside cottage style with private baths. Start your day with a homemade breakfast of muffins. After a day of touring relax in the hot tub located in the outdoor gazebo tucked in the woods for privacy.
The owners offer specials throughout the year, I am especially fond of the Inn during the holiday seasons at Halloween, when the ghosts from the past visit, to Thanksgiving and Christmas, when the Inn is decorated for the seasons and warmth and merriment are in the air. And don't forget about the whale watching!
Cape May Beaches - Swim and Relax at the Cape May Shore
Southern Mansion Bed & Breakfast
Cape May, New Jersey
The entire town of Cape May located at the southern tip of New Jersey has been designated as an Historic District. While there are numerous hotels and Bed & Breakfast Inns at which to stay, my favorite is the Southern Mansion. The mansion was built circa 1860, and sits among one-and-a-half acres of award-winning gardens. It is minutes to the beach, shops and restaurants.
Waking to a full gourmet breakfast, relaxing on the porch overlooking the gardens that harbor fountains and statuary, I can relax. In the evening a glass of wine from the Inn's winery is certain to cast romantic aura.
I especially adore the gardens and the Atlantic Ocean has always had a mysterious hold on me.
Cape May offers year round vacation planning. There is fun in the sun during the summer, Ghost tales and mystery tours during the fall, celebrate Christmas in Victorian fashion and throughout the year there are activities for couples and families to enjoy.
